I personally still think that Spanberger is the (slight?) favorite because she's a moderate Democrat. She spoke out against the Defund the Police movement after the Democrats lost seats in the House in 2020, for instance.
I didn't know that about Spanbeger. Virginia Democrats tend to more of the milquetoast suburban types, so that tracks.
Generally though I suspect the gubernatorial races will continue to be so close as to be within the margin of error of polls.
